Due to the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, since March 2020, the Museum has closed guided tours to the public; however, we continue to work behind closed doors, caring for and preserving the grana insect and its habitat alive, since its biological cycle cannot be interrupted.

The campaign LET'S RESCUE NOCHEZTLICALLI MUSEUM  invites everyone to get to know and support this Oaxacan initiative.

We humbly ask that if you are able, please consider supporting the Nocheztlicalli-Museum, with your donation we can keep our space of nature and culture operating and promoting the art and science of natural dyes to children and youth.
